Queen Papillion Brand Identity
Spring 2024
Logo Concept to Established Identity
I developed a brand identity for a fantastical vintage Victorian traveling circus, called Twin Titus Cirque. The brand is focuses on a sideshow performer, Queen Papillion and her butterfly air show attraction in the circus. I planned for her brand to have Rococo embellishments, mainly vines and royal decorations such as exaggerated swirls, and crown imagery. Also, butterfly illustrations are essential to paying particular attention to the monarch species. The goal is to create a compelling brand identity that accurately reflects Queen Papillion’s personality and values.
Logo Variations
Typography
First, I designed the brand guideline that incorporates the color system, typography, and logo variants. Then, I established a brand identity guide, emphasizing butterfly and royal symbolism. This guide created a foundation I can refer to while developing postcards, posters, advertisements, merchandise, signage, and a website.
This project was challenging in some aspects yet I’m delighted with the outcome. Trusting the process and critically analyzing the issues along the way gave me new insight, which was worth all the hardship. Thus making this my most valued, impactful project. |
